50 days…..FIFTY DAYS!!! I feel like we are in the home stretch here! Our whole family can’t wait to meet Beckham. I never imagined that the girls would be so excited to welcome a baby into the family. It’s amazing to me how they include him in everyday conversation, kiss him goodnight and talk about him all the time. It really melts my heart and makes me happy that my kids love one another!
We had an ultrasound on Tuesday and got to see our very active little guy. It’s amazing how much he has grown in 10 weeks! He is head down, very low, and very squished. We didn’t get a great photo of his face, but we still got to see his little nose and pouty lips. Everything was measuring right at 32 weeks. Except for his head. The Dr. measured it 3 times, and each time it measured around 35.5. Brooke thinks it’s hilarious – she drew a picture of him and made sure his head was larger than his body with lots of red hair.
Brooke is really into throwing parties. She has been talking about throwing Beckham a party for the last couple months…of course it was to be very elaborate. 🙂 We have been buying/wrapping some necessities throughout the last couple months for the girls to open! They drew him a card, and sang happy birthday. It was a special little family time to celebrate him!
1 // Thrifted Crate turned Shelf. I love how the crate shelves turned out! The bunny is by jellycat – so soft…I want one of every animal! The boots were Brooke’s, I can’t wait to use them on Beckham! The glass jars are both thrifted…one holds pacifiers and other holds bow ties.
2 // MaMa Bee Belly Butter. I discovered this belly butter when I was pregnant with Brooke. I have no idea if it prevents stretch marks, but it really moisturizes for hours! I put it on at night before bed and after a shower in the morning. I never have a problem with the “itchy” belly…it’s wonderful!
3 // Warm & Cozy. This little fleece romper from Carter’s was a must have. I can’t wait to snuggle him. I love the bears!
4 // Mustaches. I saw this fabric and burlap ribbon at hobby lobby and just had to make a diaper wipes case for Beckham’s little church bag. I have a smaller bag to use for church so I don’t have to lug my diaper bag and four kiddos inside. 🙂
5 // Cardboard Safari. I finally “mounted” our little deer head on the wall. I love how it turned out!
6 // Aden + Anais. These are new for me. Everyone I know promises they are amazing, so I found these two at a boutique shop, and I also got a pack of adorable turquoise receiving blankets at my shower. I can’t wait to try them out!!!
