How Chiropractic Care Positively Affects Genetic Conditions

There are shreds of evidence to support the benefits of wellness care provided by chiropractors for improving behavior and well-being, as well as lowering the cost of healthcare overall. It wasn't until recently that it became clear how chiropractic adjustments might affect the chemistry and biological processes at a cellular level. Chiropractic was thus able to meet the needs of genetics.

One study showed that chiropractic care can have an impact on the fundamental physiological processes that influence oxidative stress and DNA repair. These findings point to scientific explanations of the positive effects chiropractic care patients report. Although more research is required to support chiropractic's role in countering biological processes in the body, the evidence for chiropractic care is encouraging.

The serum thiol levels of patients receiving short-term and long-term chiropractic care were measured. These results were compared to those who received non-chiropractic treatments. The primary antioxidants in serum thiols can be used to assess human health. The test provides a substitute estimate for DNA repair enzyme activity, which is consistent with longevity health and other aging factors.

These findings revealed that chiropractic care for two years or more can restore normal physiological states in a broad range of patients. Patients with no symptoms who received chiropractic care had higher serum thiol levels than patients with ongoing diseases. Patients with these conditions also had higher serum thiol concentrations than the normal wellness levels.
